What motivates me?
Knowing that people can live better, healthier and more active lives. There’s so much in this world to experience and I want to help people do it. Also, the incredible people in my community that I’m continually being inspired by and learning from.
What I know about health:
That it is our most important asset and without it we can’t achieve many of our life goals. I’m a true believer in the biopsychosocial model of healthcare and know that people need more than to just be out of pain and have their symptoms covered up. We need to address the root cause of that pain, how it affects the person mentally/emotionally and always take other lifestyle factors into account with our treatment plan.
I am grateful for:
My own health and ability to wake up every day and do what I love. I consider myself extremely fortunate to live in such a beautiful place and be surrounded by so many great friends. I truly appreciate the love and support I receive from my parents and fiancé Kaitlin. They keep me grounded and also motivated to keep being my best self.
To continue learning about health, medicine and everything I can do to keep my patient’s happy and healthy. I’m a lifelong student and couldn’t be happier about it! Personally- to keep active, healthy, pursuing goals, explore this incredible island and give back to my community to make it a better place.
